Two times Bowling World Champion in his career. Mr. Mohammed 'MK' Al Qubaisi is in his mid 40’s, at the age of 13, it was the First time Al Qubaisi saw a Bowling Alley, it was called The Tourist Club. It was a different sport for him. He was playing in a bad way. Bowling wasn’t Al Qubaisi's hobby; His first hobby was anything to do with the Sea.
MK wanted to finish his Higher Education and Bachelor in the United States in 1982. Al Qubaisi wanted education to be his main goal in the States. He stayed one and a half year there, finished language program, and took two courses or three, Calculus, and he transferred to San Diego state University. His neighbor was a professional bowler. His name is Mike Durbin. MK and Mike bowled six times, MK owned him four times, and Mike was a little bit shocked. Mike had a conversation with Al Qubaisi and told him to focus on his bowling.
He joined a local tournament and qualified and he finished second. there was a qualification for the national team. He went to the Gulf Championship in Qatar. He won the Bronze medal. Al Qubaisi won the first silver medal for the UAE in Asian zone in Hong Kong, and qualified for the World cup in Mexico, and won the World Cup.
